Free iPod manager with many interesting options.
Apple has accomplished a lot of success with all its
iPod range of products, but many users are unhappy with the application that is supplied with these devices to manage them (iTunes), due to the limitations and the few options that it offers.
Now we can rely on an alternative to
manage the contents of
any iPod (except iPodTouch and iPhone) thanks to
Yamipod. This application, that doesn't require installation (allowing us to take it anywhere on a pendrive), offers us a series of very interesting options to manage our iPod's contents.
The application allows us to
import and export songs, edit ID3 tags, export playlists (PLS and M3U),
eliminate duplicated songs, search for lost songs or those eliminated accidentally, create and edit note for the iPod and export our music collection as an HTML or TXT file so that we can do small inventories of the songs that usually travel with us.
If you think that iTunes isn't practical enough to
manage your iPod,
download Yamipod and take complete control of your player.
Requirements: It is necessary to connect your iPod to your computer to be able to use this application. It also requires to have iTunes and QuickTime installed on our computer. This
download requires a ZIP compatible compressor.
